Cricket Scholar Programme

Surrey Academic Cricket Scholar Programme

Surrey County Cricket ClubWe are delighted to be part of the Surrey Academic Cricket Scholars Programme in collaboration with Surrey County Cricket Club. This programme is on offer to male students in RR6 and will give them the opportunity to complete their sixth form academic studies alongside access to high quality cricket coaching, strength and conditioning training, and access to the Surrey Cricket employability workshops. The employability workshops will offer an insight into the employment opportunities at Surrey County Cricket Club, to learn new skills and identify the requirements to progress with their chosen career paths. This will include areas such as finance, operations, and marketing, together with the conventional cricket roles such as coaching, performance analyst and management.

All students will have the opportunity to undertake ECB coaching qualifications alongside certified courses in scoring and umpiring, supporting students to gain employment within the world of performance cricket both during and after the two-year programme.
