Place2Be's Children's Mental Health Week is taking place 1-7 February 2021. This year's theme is "Express Yourself".
Rutlish students started Children's Mental Health Week with a remote assembly during tutor time. The theme of the week was explained and students were encouraged to be creative and share their creativity with their tutors, Heads of Year and Twitter @RutlishSchool.
“Express yourself” is about finding creative ways to share feelings, thoughts, or ideas……through things like art, writing, music, dance and doing things that make you feel good.
Free resources are available to parents at Parents and Carers - Children's Mental Health Week 2021 This includes virtual sessions with stars discussing how they creatively express themselves, including on the topics of art, dance, creating content, writing and acting. “I Express Myself Through…” – virtual sessions on creative expression - Children's Mental Health Week 2021.
