At Rutlish School students have a wide variety of interesting leadership opportunities which we believe are important for developing self-confidence and skills, such as negotiation and communication. Student leaders are expected to work with their fellow students as well as the staff team.
The theme for this year's Black History Month celebrations is "proud to be..." The Proud To Be campaign will also focus on encouraging children and young people to share what they are Proud To Be.
On Friday 24 September Rutlish School took part in the #WorldsBiggestCoffeeMorning in support of Macmillan Cancer.
Rutlish School as a long history of educating young people from Merton and we are now entering our 126th year.
Our future students, joining Rutlish Year 7 in September attended our Summer School from the 9-13th August this year.

It was great to see our Year 11 students this morning and congratulate them on achieving their GCSE and BTEC results. Our students have coped really well with the disruptions and many changes due to the Covid19 pandemic and have shown their resilience throughout this challenging year.
Our Year 13 students were delighted to receive their results this morning and we are pleased to announce another set of excellent A Level and BTEC Level 3 results this Summer.
Rutlish has fostered a working partnership with The Skills Builder Partnership and following an internal assessment and review process, the school has achieved a Skills Builder Bronze Award.
