Targeted Mental Health in Schools (TAMHS)
Rutlish School are proud to have CAMHS in school service, TAMHS.
TAMHS is a specialist CAMHS service working with Merton schools. The TAMHS team aid the development of systems of support in schools to improve mental health outcomes for children and young people.
Through TAMHS we have access to a qualified and experienced CAMHS clinician (specialist Art Psychotherapist) one day per week. We also have support from a highly specialist Psychologist where needed. The TAMHS team also offer interventions and support to parents and carers through workshops and coffee mornings.
Students can be referred to TAMHS for support via their Head of Year.
Education Wellbeing Practitioners
Our in school Education Wellbeing Practitioners (EWPs) are part of our Mental Health Support Team. They offer Cognitive Behaviour Therapy based 'Guided Self Help' interventions which are short-term (6-8 sessions), following a specific manual. Students who experience anxiety or low mood may benefit from this support.
Students can be referred by their Head of Year or alternatively can self refer by completing the form below.
