A Place to Achieve REAL Success
Our Year 13 students have achieved some fabulous outcomes in their first ever exam results. Students and staff celebrated these admirable A Level and Level 3 BTEC grades this morning.
We are thrilled with the exceptional A-level destinations achieved by our students this year, marking a true testament to their aspirations, hard work and dedication to learning.
We take immense pride in announcing that our students have secured offers from illustrious institutions such as Cambridge, Durham, and St Andrews. Moreover, we celebrate achievements of our graduates who have been admitted to Russell Group universities. From Bristol to Manchester, Exeter to Nottingham, Liverpool to Leeds, Southampton to Queen Mary's, Sheffield to Cardiff, our students have demonstrated their readiness for the challenges of higher education.
In addition to these exceptional placements, our students have spread their wings to other highly regarded institutions including Bath, Leicester, Reading, SOAS, Kent, Royal Holloway, and Manchester Met. It is inspiring to see their diverse interests leading to a spectrum of courses, with Computer Science, Engineering, Law, Business, and Economics emerging as popular choices. Our students' passions extend far beyond this, as reflected in their pursuits of Creative Writing, Architecture, Geography, History, Psychology, Philosophy, Pharmacology, Politics, Journalism, International Relations, Media and Film, and Sports Sciences.
Furthermore, we are thrilled to announce the success of three of our students who have secured coveted degree apprenticeships. Two of these placements are in the dynamic fields of finance and accounting, while another student has embarked on an exciting journey in software engineering.
Provisional results show 22% of A Level results are A* to A, 49% A* to B and 79% A* to C grades. Level 3 BTEC students also performed well with lots of Distinction and Merit grades. These results reflect the school vision – A Place to Achieve REAL success through respect, equality, aspiration and learning with support from staff, families and other students.
As we reflect on this year's achievements, we commend the collaborative efforts of our inspiring educators, supportive parents, and, most importantly, our determined students. With such an impressive array of placements, we eagerly anticipate the positive impacts our graduates will make in their respective fields. Congratulations to each and every one of them on their exceptional destinations!
