Battle of the Bands - WINNERS AND 2nd PLACE
We entered two bands into the annual Battle of the Bands competition at Wimbledon High on Friday 8th March. The theme for the competition was colours.
Our older student band ‘Blue Night’ Music group won the competition with an energetic performance of Green Day’s American Idiot. We then nailed second place with our younger students performing a medley of songs based on the colour Gold including ‘Golden Hour’ by JVKE.
Battle of the Bands always has a sell-out crowd and we were thrilled to win! Congratulations to all the competitors from Merton, we look forward to seeing you next year.
