It’s been a very busy term for house competitions as we have run nine events since September! These included: house bake off for staff and students which raised an impressive amount of money for Macmillan Cancer Support; house history quiz; design an invention competition; house rugby; and even a teacher scavenger hunt for European Languages Day.
It has been brilliant to see so many students participating in extracurricular events and current overall scores are very close so it’s all to play for in the spring!
We have also seen some new initiatives this year, including electing new Deputy House Captains from Year 10 and House Captains in Year 12, as well as some fantastic new banners designed by students from all year groups. They will be displayed around school early next term.
Here are a few words from your house coordinators reflecting on the successes of their houses this term!
